The establishment opens its doors in Tsinga district under the name REGAL Hotel, quickly establishing itself as a reference address near the Congress Palace.

On 1 January 2016, the establishment adopted its current identity: GAMO Hotel, GAMO SARL. A new management, a new vision rooted in Cameroonian culture.
